JL Psychotherapy Counseling Training Practice is dedicated to supporting Elevate Nepal, a nonprofit organization committed to rebuilding and sustaining communities in Nepal through infrastructure, education, and health initiatives. Jenny first traveled to Nepal in 2013 for an extended stay, returning in 2015 to support a monastery following the devastating earthquakes. During this time, she met Dan Maurer, Elevate Nepal’s founder, and began building a lasting connection. Since then, Dan and his team have continued to expand their work in Nepal, while Jenny has remained aligned with the organization’s mission as part of her commitment to meaningful, lasting change beyond the therapy room.
Funds from JL Psychotherapy go directly toward projects such as rebuilding/establishing schools, improving access to clean water, and expanding health services in rural villages. This commitment reflects the therapy practice’s core belief that healing should ripple further, not only supporting the individuals and families served in the therapy room, but also reaching communities in need worldwide.
By beginning or continuing your work with JL Psychotherapy, you are also participating in this global impact. To learn more or to join in supporting Elevate Nepal’s mission, visit ElevateNepal.org
